FINALLY Catching Up

Okay, I'm awful at this, I know. Here's a catch-me-up.

December 16th:
Best birthday present ever today! We had our ultrasound today and found out it's a girl!! We were so sure it was a boy by how much the baby was moving prior to this appointment that when the tech said "looks like it's a girl" I looked at her and said "are you sure?" :)

January:
We had another ultrasound to check on some things they couldn't see on the last one and Baby Girl is looking good! She moves a lot and I can feel her -- anxious for when Jared will be able to feel her, too. We get lots of questions about what her name will be -- we have no idea yet! Rest assured, though, she won't leave the hospital without a name. :)

We'll be in our third trimester next week. I can't believe it's gone by so fast. Granted, the first trimester didn't go by fast at all since I was so sick, but the second trimester seems to have just disappeared. A girlfriend and I are due just a couple of weeks apart and have signed up to take our birthing classes together. Those start in March, which I know will be here quickly.

Jared's dad is coming up in a couple of weeks to help us get the remodelling done on what will become the nursery. I'm very anxious to get that stuff done so I can do the fun decorating stuff and so we can get the crib and stuff set up!
