So we are in the 2nd trimester now and, thankfully, I'm finally starting to feel better. Most days I have more energy and can eat "normally", though there are still some days when I feel sick to my stomach.
We had our 4 month appointment last Tuesday. I don't know if I've mentioned on here that we are using Midwife Services through Methodist Hospital -- some people don't realize what midwives due these days and for those of you who are freaking out we will be having the baby in the hospital and a doctor will be available should it be needed. Anyway, Kim (who is one of the midwives) thinks we're having a boy because every time she tried to get the baby's heartbeat on the doppler at Tuesday's appointment it would move. She seriously tried like 10 times. Jared and I continue to tease each other about the boy vs. girl thing, but my next ultrasound appointment is set now and as long as the baby cooperates we should know what it is in another month. In fact, it is going to be my birthday present of sorts because the appointment is on my birthday! :)
This Wednesday we are driving up to Milwaukee for Thanksgiving at Aunt Courtney and Uncle Adam's, and hopefully will get some pictures taken up there -- just haven't had occasion to really take any and I'm just starting to show so that will be fun to share.
