So I thought I was just getting sick -- I'd been very tired and my stomach was upset for at least a week before we found out. I had taken an at-home test toward the end of August and got a negative result so we figured we'd just keep trying, after all we'd only started trying that month. Then September 6th came and I was hosting my sister's bachelorette party that night -- I needed to just check to see if it was okay for me to celebrate in the same way everyone else would be. Then shock of shocks the test was positive!! I took another one and it was positive, and the doctor officially confirmed on Tuesday that we're pregnant!
They are saying I'm about 7 weeks along, and we're due April 29th. Will know more when I actually have my ultrasound, which won't be for awhile. Jared and I are, of course, extremely excited and so glad we can officially share our good news with everyone.

Yeah!!!! Congrats. Blogging is so much fun and a great way to keep track of your kids!
Jared and Lindsey, of course we are thrilled to know that we are going to be grandparents! You have so much to look forward to. Though they are a great deal of work, children are such a blessing. And remember, you have a built-in babysitter anytime you need us! We love you--all three of you (or could it be four?)!
